Where to Get a Great View in Rome (VIDEO)

When in Rome, I like wandering around the city exploring the side streets, hoping to stumble upon something undiscovered. There is no better place for this kind of exploration. I also really like to get a view from above to get perspective. So, here are three of my favorite places to look down on Rome admiring the beautiful architecture and marveling at the antiquity.   PHOTO CREDIT In the Travel with Kate opening sequence, the image behind Kate eating sushi (not of Kate) is by photographer Trey Ratcliff of http://www.stuckincustoms.com/…

In this interview in Rome he shares his philosophy on why language learning is so important. Also see our other video where Luca gives me an Italian lesson.   PHOTO CREDIT In the Travel with Kate opening sequence, the image where Kate is eating sushi is by photographer…

And of course, I’ll be covering the Olympic atmosphere in London! But as of now, I’ve basically just arrived. And last night was my first night in Rome. I met up with some friends and we headed out for dinner at a restaurant called L’Antica Roma, a local pizzeria in the neighborhood of Monteverde Vecchio.…
