Olympic Gold Metal Soccer – USA v JAPAN (VIDEO)

At the last minute, I acquired some tickets to the Olympic, gold metal, women’s football match on Thursday. It was the World Cup 2010, all over again. Well, almost. The event itself took place at Wembley Park, the veritable birthplace of British football. And the game broke a pretty exciting record. With over 80 thousand spectators in the stadium, last night’s match became the most highly attended women’s Olympic game in history. Let’s hear a round of applause for women in sports!
