Have you ever traveled to France and felt less than welcome by the locals? Maybe there’s a reason why.
What do you think? Did this help shed some light on the subject? Do you feel more prepared to approach the French?

April 17, 2012 at 10:47 amWow! Great video! You’ve just successfully crushed an age-old stereotype about the intentions and thoughts of an entire country! I never did understand that concept. Great work, I hope this piece reaches all Americans. Thanks!

Thank you.

May 22, 2012 at 1:56 pmGreat video. Diplomatic question. I would have asked “Do the French really like…anyone?” LOL Just kidding the French are great, just don’t always wear their feelings on their sleeves. Or inside.

January 3, 2015 at 3:40 pmFrench people don’t mind Americans. They just don’t like LOUD, obnoxious, unaware of people around them, feel-the-need-to-mention-they’re-American-every-5-seconds Americans.
I encountered nothing but friendliness in Paris. I totally credit that to my experience and sensitivity as a traveller in general, and my insistence on trying to speak in French, despite an extremely limited vocabulary.
