I took a Vayable.com guide for a spin. And what I got was an evening full of great food and a really fun local experience.
My guide, Matthew, is not a professional tour guide. By trade, he is a journalist. And he often writes for Lonely Planet and Time Out as a food critic. So you can imagine, he is quite knowledgeable about the London foodie scene.
I’ll let the video speak for itself. But I will say, I loved knowing I was, most likely, the only non-Londoner there.

October 7, 2012 at 10:47 pmGood to see that chefs of talent can be found on the street (encourages walking as well as good eating.) A trend that should be supported along with farmer’s markets & locally grown good. And reminds me of those pork buns in NYC… 😉

October 18, 2012 at 12:28 pmI have travelled to London on a number of occasions and thought I had experienced the best. However, Kate has taught me that my impression was wrong. Her piece is educational and entertaining. I like her TV persona. Very vibrant.
