Top Ten Gifts for the Travelers in your Life

Here are my top ten gifts for travelers this holiday season. This list is for men and women who are both leisure travelers and business travelers. These are products and services that I personally enjoy as a frequent traveler or that I really want myself! You won’t find any globe lamps or necklaces shaped like the continents. These ideas are specifically to address real needs and wants of travelers.   1. Stylish compression legwear I know, it’s not the sexiest part about travel but it’s a real consideration. Since my early twenties, I have had a problem with swelling in my legs when I fly on long-haul flights. This is common for many people of all ages on flights as…

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgryueSztB8&w=560&h=315] If you could bring home one item from Paris, what would it be? I’d have to say a sweet necklace or any fun accent piece! Playing Holi (VIDEO)

Holi is a festival to welcome the Spring. It is celebrated widely in Western and Northern India over two days with bonfires, parties, live music, dance and food – and of course colored powder. It is said to be a time when social structures that restrict people from interacting freely based on age, sex, or caste are pushed aside. And everybody let’s loose. Over the weekend in New York City, everyone seemed in excellent spirits and ready for a party. I could feel the nostalgia in the air. Like 4th of July or Christmas, these celebrations clearly evoked fond memories from growing up in India for many on the boat. The powder itself was light like baby powder and smelt…
